I am a Calgary based makeup artist and I have been doing makeup for 16 years.

I was born and raised in Calgary and I grew up in an artistic household. In school I took advanced art classes, where I learned about colour-theory, composition, and shapes. My favourite thing to draw was portraits of people, which is what lead to my interest in makeup artistry.

Certified since 2007, I have received training working for luxury makeup brands like Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, Armani, and Guerlain. It was at these places that I got the opportunity to do makeup on every kind of skin-type, skin-colour, age, and feature. Since 2017, I have worked as a freelance makeup artist where I have focused on bridal makeup, portrait makeup, and editorial makeup.

One of the best parts of being a makeup artist is meeting wonderful people and seeing the look on a their face when they look in the mirror, and they see the beautiful person everyone else sees looking back at them.I am passionate about helping individuals feel empowered and confident by using techniques that don't look heavy or make them look like a different person.

 In addition to doing makeup I have a degree in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy and when I am not doing makeup I work for a long-term Cancer and Chronic Disease research study. I am also currently completing my Master of Public Health, am an avid reader, enjoy cooking curry concoctions, love my cat and coffee, and enjoy spending time with my family, partner, and friends.
